Peru has exported 7,127 tons of fresh blueberries at the start of the 2023/2024 season, representing a 9% drop vs. the previous season. Proarandanos, Perus blueberry exporters association, expects a reduction in the volume exported this season in this latest crop update.
Since May, when the current Peruvian blueberry season began, and until mid-July, 7,127 tons of fresh fruit have been exported, a lower volume than at the beginning of last season. Of this total, 88% was shipped by sea, while 10
