und the world are developing cultivated meat cell-grown chicken, beef, pork and fish. Most are in early stages of development, not ready for large-scale production and, with a couple of exceptions, not yet approved for commercial sale.

The movement is primarily driven by cell-based productions ability to significantly reduce foods footprint, while eliminating the need for growth hormones and antibiotics entering the food chain through consumed livestock.
