According to Aritao mayor Remelina Peros-Galam, the DA in Cagayan Valley has allocated P19 million (342,000) for a proposed onion cold storage facility (OCSF) for the Federation of Aritao Farmers Onion, Garlic and Ginger Growers Association (FAFOGGA) through its High Value Crops Development Program. The establishment of an OCSF is expected to help and bring more profit to onion farmers in the town of Aritao.
