The China Times reports that in the week before the Chinese Spring Festival [February 5th, 2019]. Gaoxiong exported 14.4 tons of fruit to Canada on January 29th, and then another 13 shipping containers of fruit to China on January 30th. Those containers are on their way to Fuzhou and Shanghai. They contain guava, candied jujube, and wax apples. Gaoxiong is well-known for the quality of its fruit, which is why they are popular with importers from Canada, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
