Most of the yellow onions currently on the market come from Gansu production areas, while red onions mainly come from Shandong production areas, and large red onions mainly come from Gansu and Inner Mongolia. As for the price, while the price of yellow onions shows an upward trend, the price of red onions remains low.
The onion markets throughout China were severely depressed in the first half of this year. The export price was relatively low, however, current markets have gradually recovered.
