ve, Jos Ramn Mech, explained that the tomatoes come from the municipalities of Xilxes, La Llosa, Moncfar, Almenara, Benicarl and Helln, and that if they were not used for the Tomatina they would not be harvested, because they are not suitable for either fresh consumption or canning.
