Nestlé invests $140m in new dairy plant in Chile

Nestl has invested over CHF127m ($140m) in a new factory in Chile. The plant will produce a range of dairy products and ingredients for domestic consumption and for export to the US, Central America, the Middle East and Asia.

When the plant becomes completely operational, it will have a production capacity of 30,000 tons of milk powder, enabling the company to meet growing consumer demand for dairy products with added nutritional value.
