Every year, at the start of the autumn season, the Korean community marks a period on the calendar for marinating pickled cabbages, also known in Korean as Kimchi. Cabbages that are pickled in autumn can be eaten continuously during winter and spring. For Koreans, who believe that food can only be called a meal if kimchi is included, these pickled cabbages are the basis of every meal of the day. That being said, the price of kimchi has increased significantly this year. For many Korean household
