According to Tianjin Fisheries Bureau, this years China shrimp season at Bohai Gulf officially kicked off on 20th August, which would last by the end of the year. Tianjin government totally released more than 1.5 billion shrimp fry into Bohai Gulf this year for proliferation. Based on recapture rate in previous years, its estimated that a total of 1, 300 tonnes of China shrimp would be caught back during the shrimp fishing season, whose total output value was expected to surpass 0.2 billion yuan
