Armenian farmers want Turkish import ban

The head of the Union of Domestic Manufacturers Vazgen Safaryan, told journalists that the ban on imports of Turkish vegetables into Armenia could lead to unjustified price increases.

In early spring Turkish greenhouse vegetables appear on the Armenian market, including tomatoes, these successfully compete with local products, which in spite of the lack of transportation costs, are more expensive than Turkish goods.
