A new study has linked high potato consumption to increasing your risk of high blood pressure, yet the researchers themselves have acknowledged the study presents an interesting paradox, and Australian experts have question the validity of it altogether.
Potatoes presented a paradox, because they have both high levels of potassium, a mineral associated with lower blood pressure, and a high glycemic index (meaning that after a person eats them, his or her blood sugar levels rise rapidly),
