Theres a medium supply of Fuyu persimmons coming from Chile, according to Robert Schueller of Melissas Produce in Los Angeles.
They are of good quality, said Schueller, adding that the fruit is available now through early June.
Typically known only as fall fruit, Melissas Produce has been importing Fuyu persimmons for nearly 14 years.
