The Wines from Spain Awards competition held by the Department of Wines of Spain has announced champion wines for this year.
Around 100 wines from across Spain were evaluated by a group of expert tasters, including buyers, journalists and members of the Institute of Masters of Wine.
Of all the wines evaluated, 16 have been declared champions within sparkling wines, white wines and rosado wines, red wines and sweet fortified wines categories.
The Best Cava award was given to Ramon Canals Cana
