White chocolate truffle cake

Ingredients

200g salted butter, at room temperature
250g caster sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 2/3 cups (250g) self-raising flour, sifted
205ml milk
135g white chocolate, melted
Truffles (makes about 8)
1/2 cup (125ml) thickened cream
140g white chocolate, chopped, plus extra grated to decorate
1 teaspoon Grand Marnier or other orange liqueur (optional)
Ganache
1 1/2 cups (375ml) thickened cream
625g white chocolate, chopped
