Deans previous 2013 Environmental Roadmap called for a 20% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and 30% reductions in both water usage and solid waste by 2013 from the companys 2007 baseline. The new goals for 2020 now call for a 25% reduction in greenhouse gases, a 50% decrease in solid waste and a 35% reduction in water use. Several new goals also have been established, including a 20% decrease in energy use and 80% increase in recycling by 2020.
