On January 9, 2014, Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) published a Gazette Notice with Amendment No. 145 to the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code. This amendment includes a revision to Standard 1.3.3 (Processing Aids) based on Application A1077 regarding the use of fungal chitosan as a processing aid.
