Brazil Publishes Food Additive Regulations for Fruit and Vegetables

On March 6, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (Agncia Nacional de Vigilncia Sanitria, ANVISA) published Resoluo da Diretoria Colegiada (RDC) No. 7 and RDC No. 8. RDC No. 7 regulates the use of technological coadjuvants in the manufacture of fruit and vegetable products. RDC No. 8 regulates the use of food additives in fruit and vegetable products.
