Nestlé may divest assets of Pfizer nutrition

Swiss food company Nestl, which entered into an agreement to acquire Pfizer's nutrition business for $11.85bn, may sell 10% to 15% of the business to overcome antitrust issues.

Nestl may have to divest divisions in countries such as Australia, Thailand and Venezuela. Consumer product companies and private equity funds may be interested in acquiring the assets, reported Bloomberg.
