pot to boiling and allow the potatoes to cook for approximately 20 minutes.
7.Remove the lid from the steam pot and check for doneness. Gently prick a potato with a fork to see if the potatoes are fork-tender. When they're done, remove them from the steam pot.
8.Serve the steam cooked potatoes with butter, salt and pepper if desired,oruse the potatoes in your favorite recipe.
